Acceptance of Used Books
60 Day Return & Exchange Policy
Special Orders, Holds and Shipping Policies
We will accept used books for store credit and in some cases for payment
with these conditions:

Twice Told Tales may compensate at the basic rate of:
- $1.00 per hardbound book (in saleable condition)
- $0.50 per trade paperback (in saleable condition)
- $0.25 per mass-market paperback (in saleable condition)
- bulk price offer if the situation merits

Any offer of payment is made at the sole discretion of Twice Told Tales and the terms offered are determined on a case by case basis. No previous offer will be honored unless explicitly offered again.

Any books left in excess of 60 days without contact from the "seller" (you) will be assumed to have been abandoned and will become the property of Twice Told Tales regardless of its actions or whether it attempts to contact the seller (you) during that period or at all. Twice Told Tales is under no obligation to contact any seller for any reason.

Twice Told Tales makes no assertion that a book has any specific value nor is any estimate of value considered an offer to purchase.
We will accept returns
with these conditions:

Returns must be made within 60 days of purchase.

All returns receive Store Credit ONLY.

NO cash or credit card refunds. Receipt required. (Sales history verification maybe required).

Store credit must be used within 60 days of customer receipt – credit receipt required.

All return items MUST be in saleable condition.
We will special order or hold any title with a prepayment
with these conditions:

All special orders and holds require prepayment.

All special orders will be returned to stock 14 days after customer notification of arrival. No refund will be tendered after 60 days following customer notification of arrival.

All customer holds will be returned to stock 14 days after hold is requested and prepayment received. No refund will be tendered after 60 days following customer request for hold is requested and prepayment received.

All customer holds will be returned to stock at the end of the business day the request for hold is made.
We will mail or ship your purchase for:

US Postal Mail rate: $6.00 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book

UPS shipping rate: minimum $6.00, over $6.00 actual rate
Gift certificates must be redeemed within 1 year from date of purchase/issue.
Reader Discount Card discount does NOT apply to any sale items or special promotions unless specifically noted.
